As a business coach, Bill specializes in helping business owners tackle difficult growth challenges and is known for his ability to help owners achieve more than they ever thought possible in both their business and their life.
Before AdviCoach, Bill had a 25 year career driving profitable growth and building differentiated businesses. Bill has held senior leadership positions in Marketing and Human Resources in companies such as Marriott Corporation, CIGNA and SEI Investments. His accomplishments include:
Directing all research to guide Courtyard by Marriott’s profitable growth from market introduction to 200 hotels, establishing Courtyard as the nation’s fastest-growing hotel chain;
Leading the repositioning and re-launch of CIGNA’s $600M disability business, resulting in a 35% sales increase and record customer retention;
Driving product and market development initiatives in SEI Investment’s retirement business that now account for over 40% of new business and record new sales.
Bill graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Psychology and earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Bill has taught MBA Marketing and Market Research at Philadelphia University and is a frequent speaker at trade association meetings. He is also a Gold level speaker in the national Painting and Decorating Contractors Association’s Contractor College.
Bill lives in Southern New Jersey with his wife and three children.
