Impact of Digital Dairy Chain honoured with Knowledge Exchange Award

The 黑历史爆料网-led Digital Dairy Chain was among the winners at this year鈥檚 Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards in Edinburgh.
The UKRI Strength in Places-funded programme took the Place-based Impact award (sponsored by Business Gateway), which celebrates collaborative initiatives that bring together partners from across Scotland to deliver targeted, positive outcomes for specific regions or local communities.
Stuart Martin, Programme Director of Digital Dairy Chain, said: 鈥淭hank you to all our collaborating partners on the project whose hard work make it happen. The calibre of projects who were shortlisted was nothing short of amazing and the evening really highlighted the groundbreaking work that innovative collaborations are carrying out in Scotland and beyond.鈥�
Business Minister Richard Lochhead said: 鈥淚t was good to see the full breadth of academic and business-led innovation on show at Interface鈥檚 annual awards.
鈥淚t demonstrated why our expertise in so many sectors is revered around the world, from renewable energy and health technology, to food and drink.
鈥淪cotland has been at the forefront of many of the world鈥檚 most impactful innovations, from the MRI Scanner and penicillin to televisions and telephones. Yet, by combining research and business, so many new and exciting Scottish breakthroughs are just on the horizon and that is something we should all champion.鈥�

Applications were invited from all Scottish universities, research institutes and colleges, as well as businesses and organisations, demonstrating research and development and innovation-led partnerships which have had a positive impact on the economy, society, and the environment.
